PadresGM (Gene): My understanding is that thye HOFBL teams that own such players have until 12/31 to extend or make a QO.

Guardians GM (Nate): Players on expiring contracts were dropped in Fantrax but they can be offered a team extension (1 per team at a time) or tagged with a QO.

Rays GM (Norm): What you may be seeing is that players who were signed last spring/summer but not originally available on Fantrax are now available. So we are completing the process of adding them to the Fantrax rosters.

PadresGM (Gene): Correct me of need be, but to clarify, the players seen being added are minor leaguers/2024 MLB Amat Draft picks taken by hofbl teams earlier in 2024 and not MLB level players.
