Rays GM (Norm): What you may be seeing is that players who were signed last spring/summer but not originally available on Fantrax are now available. So we are completing the process of adding them to the Fantrax rosters. 2024-12-09, 20:23:43

Tigers GM (Drew): Haven't been on the message board for a bit, so sorry if I missed this.  Are all the ARB and preARB salaries updates on our rosters?  I want to make sure I have current info as I start making roster decisions before 12/31 deadline 2024-12-12, 11:12:26

The 2024 HOFBL and MLB season have concluded.  Congratulations again to the :CIN: on winning the 2024 HOFBL title.

We are now entering the 2025 offseason.  Below is some important information you'll need to know for the upcoming offseason:  

- Trading is now open.

- ARB contracts will start to be updated after November 22nd.  After 11/22, we will  use the current salaries on Spotrac for HOFBL ARB 2025 contracts (Estimated or signed amounts).

- A 2025 Check In thread has been created.  Please take a minute to confirm you will be returning (or not) for 2025.  The Check In thread is here: https://hofbl.com/index.php?topic=1602

- The 2025 League Schedule has been posted.  It is here: https://hofbl.com/index.php?topic=1601.0

- Roster decisions (PreArb, ARB, Team Extension, Qualifying Offers) are due by December 31st. Please post your rosters decisions here: https://hofbl.com/index.php?board=60.0

I will be working to add the rest of FYPD draft picks and IFA players to rosters as Fantrax adds them to the database.  The hope is to have all drafted and IFA signed players added to rosters by December 31st (with Fantrax's cooperation).

It was a great first season.  I'm looking forward to 2025.  Let me know if anyone has any questions.

For extensions do we have to wait until the offseason to extend a player or can we do so at any time?

It would be ideal if team posted the player extension in each teams roster decision post.
